To provide a vending machine which never causes a capacity shortage of a power supply without increasing the manufacturing cost.

The vending machine adapted to deliver a commodity stored in a commodity storage column to a bucket includes: a plurality of commodity storage columns vertically and horizontally arranged with individual commodity dispensing ports being turned to the same dispensing surface; the bucket which moves along the dispensing surface by driving a vertical travel DC motor and a horizontal travel DC motor; and a motor control means which disposes, when a selection instruction of commodity is given, the bucket in opposition to the commodity storage column storing the corresponding commodity by cooperating the vertical travel DC motor and the horizontal travel DC motor. The motor control means drives, when sales instructions are given, the vertical travel DC motor and the horizontal travel DC motor while shifting the respective starting times.
