Abstract:
To obtain a porous photocatalyst generating no fracture or crack even if mounted on an incinerator or a water treatment apparatus, having excellent production efficiency and economical efficiency and excellent in safety, weatherability, stability and workability.
A silica gel is ground to obtain fine particles and a binder is added to these fine particles to form silica gel particles having a spherical, plate-like or tablet-like shape or other arbitrary shape. The porous surfaces of these particles are coated with titanium oxide.
