To provide an uptake section water-cooling jacket taking-out device for a flash smelting furnace, easily moving at least a part of water-cooling jacket disposed on a horizontal connecting section connecting an uptake of the flash smelting furnace and a waste heat boiler to a position separating from a furnace body, and easily performing a work for removing attached accretion.
This uptake section water-cooling jacket taking-out device has: a vertical support 11 rotatably disposed on an outer side of the flash smelting furnace 100; and a joint arm means 15 extending in the horizontal direction to the vertical support 11, and oscillatable in the horizontal direction around the vertical support 11. A cover member 120 attached to one end of the joint arm means 15 and an end section jacket 1C integrally mounted on the cover member 120, are detachable from the flash smelting furnace 100 through an opening portion 110 of a flash smelting furnace flue section, by oscillating the joint arm means 15 in the horizontal direction by driving the vertical support 11.
