Abstract:

To provide a nitrogen-containing carbon-based porous body having high adsorbability and to provide its manufacturing method.

The porous body made of a nitrogen-containing carbon-based material has a skeleton of carbon atoms and nitrogen atoms. The porous body has ≥600 m2/g specific surface area, 1 to 5 nm average pore diameter and 0.08 to 0.3 atomic ratio (N/C) of nitrogen atoms to carbon atoms.
