Abstract:

To solve a problem that data in the address book of a portable communication terminal do not match data in an address book deposited in a server.

The portable communication terminal comprises a section for storing data, a data update section for adding, altering or deleting the data stored in the data storage section, and a section connected with a server in order to match the data stored in the data storage section and the data stored in the server. The data update section displays a screen receiving a request for adding, altering or deleting the data stored in the data storage section and adds, alters or deletes the data stored in the data storage section according to a request received through a screen. When the data stored in the data storage section are added, altered or deleted at the data update section, the data matching section matches the data stored in the data storage section and the data stored in the server upon elapsing a predetermined time after ending the display of the screen.
