Abstract:

To provide a method for dissolving fly ash to molten slag which can stably and economically dissolve the fly ash of ≥10 mass% which is a quantity larger than the conventional case.

In the method where a lance 12 whose chip part is provided with jetting holes 10, 11 is immersed into blast-furnace molten slag 14 stored in a pan type vessel 13 having a storage amount of 30 to 100 ton, fly ash with the total iron content of ≤11 mass% is blown into the blast-furnace molten slag 14 using an oxygen-containing gas, and the fly ash is dissolved by ≥10 mass% to the blast-furnace molten slag 14 before the fly ash is melted, the blowing-in of the fly ash is started to the blast-furnace molten slag 14 heated at ≥1,370°C at a blowing rate decided in accordance with the temperature of the blast-furnace molten slag 14, and thereafter, when the dissolution ratio of the fly ash reaches a prescribed value in the range of 5 to 15 mass%, the blowing rate of the fly ash is changed.
