To provide the base material film of an in-mold transfer foil having excellent antistatic properties between an in-mold transfer foil manufacturing process and a molding transfer process, not causing the adhesion of an antistatic layer and a printing layer and also excellent in the adhesiveness with a mold release layer at the time of in-mold transfer molding.

The polyester film for in-mold transfer is composed of a polyester film and the antistatic layer provided on one side thereof and the antistatic layer contains a silicone compound and a surfactant. The surfactant comprises a fluorocarbon compound having a branch structure.
