Abstract:
To solve a problem that, since the inside of a folded part of a cathode can of a conventional electrochemical cell is formed in a curved surface to have a narrow space at a bottom part of the cathode can, a folded part of the cathode and an electrode member come in contact with each other to cause deformation or crack of a cathode member.
By providing a groove at the folded part of the cathode can, the cathode can the cathode member are prevented from contacting each other. With this, crack or deformation of the cathode member is eliminated to prevent abnormalities of cell voltage and degradation of electric capacity.
