To provide a method for manufacturing spherical fine particles of a piezoelectric material by using a molten salt method excellent in recycling property and mass-productivity.
The method for manufacturing fine particles of a piezoelectric material is carried out by mixing and heating an oxide as a main source material of the fine particles of the piezoelectric material with molten inorganic salts which induce a molten salt reaction with the oxide and is characterized in that a predetermined amount of lead oxide (PbO) is mixed with the above oxide and the molten inorganic salts and heated at a predetermined temperature. Thereby, fine particles of the piezoelectric material having excellent dispersibility can be manufactured.
