Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience of a navigation device by realizing gaining and adding detailed location information for a marked location with an easy work. SOLUTION: The device comprises a GPS 11 for specifying a location on a map indicated on a display 15, a serial port 21 receiving data from a personal computer 40 for making access through the internet to a location information search site arranged on the internet and containing the specific location information, an external recording medium interface 22 and a CPU 14 obtaining the location information from the location information search site as additional information on the specified location.
