To provide an automatic photographing device which can detect abnormalities such as a dead battery of an input device other than a device chassis by a simple constitution.

After carrying out the processing of photographing a user U by receiving various operations by the user U from a plurality of remote control terminals 31 other than the device chassis (S30), a main control part 80 incorporated in the device chassis of the automatic photographing device performs scribble processing (S50), creates a using history including information for computing, a use frequency of the remote control terminal 31 and stores it (S70). Based on this using history, the main control part 80 computes the use frequency from the stored using history at proper timing, and makes a warning indicated according to the use frequency (S20) when used only at a frequency lower than a first or a second predetermined standard. Thus, abnormalities such as the dead battery can be detected by a simple constitution without preparing a device for detecting abnormalities peculiar to remote control terminals.
