To provide a power tool dust collector comprising an interlocking control device for holding the dust collector in a stopped or operated condition in response to the operated condition of a power tool without being influenced by the generation of a distorted current (a pulse current) based on the operation of additional function of the power tool.
The interlocking control device 20 for the power tool dust collector 1 consists of an outlet 12 for supplying power to the power tool 2, a current transformer CT for detecting a current in the outlet 12, a full wave rectifying circuit 21 for rectifying absolute voltage to respond to positive or negative voltage output from the current transformer CT, an output detecting circuit 22 for detecting an output level to respond to the effective value output of the full wave rectifying circuit 21, a charging/discharging circuit 23 for starting charge when the output voltage of the output detecting circuit 22 exceeds a predetermined threshold value, and a comparison circuit 24 for outputting a control signal to turn on a motor driving circuit 17 when the charging voltage of the charging/discharging circuit 23 exceeds predetermined comparison voltage.
