To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte solution capable of obtaining yet more superior cycle characteristics, and to provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery that uses the same.

The nonaqueous electrolyte solution containing a compound represented by Formula 1 of 0.01-10% by weight in nonaqueous solution is used. In the Formula 1, X1represents oxygen, sulfur, CD1D2, or NE1. D1and D2, independently represent a group which can be bonded with hydrogen or carbon, E1represents a group which can be bonded with hydrogen or nitrogen. X2represents oxygen, sulfur, or NE1. Z1and Z2, independently represent a group which can be bonded with hydrogen or carbon. Here, at least one among Z1, Z2, D1, D2, and E1represents an alkyl group, where at least one hydrogen and at least one fluorine are bonded with at least one carbon of an end. Also n represents a natural number.
