Abstract:
To provide a data structure for automatically updating an executable file itself in a self-extracting executable file.
The data structure of a self-extracting program 200 serving as a self-extracting executable program comprises an encryption document 10, an expanding program 20, and an update program 30 as data. A PC 100 executes the expanding program 20 to function as an expanding means creating a temporary folder and copying the encryption document 10. The expanding means makes the PC 100 execute the update program 30. The PC 100 executes the update program 30 to function as an update means 31 updating the data structure of the self-extracting program 200.
