To provide a ceiling embedded type lighting system using lighting fixtures for illuminating a wide region around a light emission opening while reducing the light emission opening.

The embedded type lighting system 1 includes an outer frame 10 having the light emission opening 11 in the lower face, the plurality of lighting fixtures 40, 40, 40, 40 arranged inside the outer frame 10, a plurality of lighting fixture supporting parts 30, 30, 30, 30 each having a telescopic member 33 for telescopically guiding the lighting fixture 40 up and down in the state of directing it to the light emission opening 11, and guide parts 20 for guiding the lighting fixture supporting parts 30 to be turned around the light emission opening 11.
