To provide a method for refining aluminum where refining efficiency is high, and there is no problem in operability such as the splashes and scattering of molten aluminum, to provide a refining device therefor, and to provide an aluminum lump.
In the method for refining aluminum, a cooling body 3 is immersed into molten aluminum 2 exceeding a solidification temperature, and aluminum is crystallized out over the surface of the cooling body, so as to be grown. Simultaneously with the rotation of the cooling body 3 to one direction, while applying rotary force to the molten aluminum 2 in a direction opposite to the rotary direction of the cooling body 3, high purity aluminum is crystallized out over the surface of the cooling body.
