To provide a current sensor that dynamically removes an offset amount and has high responsiveness.
The current sensor 1 includes a correction value operation circuit 33 which determines a correction value for correcting a waveform of a signal Sig (HE2) output from a second Hall element 21 so that the waveform of this signal Sig (HE2) may agree with a waveform of a signal Sig (HE1) output from a first Hall element 11, a sequence control circuit 38 which changes over the polarity of a power supply of the second Hall element 21 and makes a reverse signal dSig (HE2) output from the second Hall element 21, a waveform correcting circuit 34 which corrects the waveform of the reverse signal dSig (HE2), based on the correction value, an offset detecting circuit 35 which detects the offset amount, based on the corrected reverse signal dSig (HE2) and the signal Sig (HE1), and a subtracter 37 which removes the offset amount from the signal Sig (HE1).
