Abstract:
To prevent image quality deterioration by surely canceling a noise component that is superimposed on an image signal when reading the signal from a solid-state imaging element.
An imaging apparatus includes: a CCD 22; a noise pattern ROM 25 storing a plurality of pattern signals for noise cancellation for an image signal obtained by the CCD 22; and an OB clamp circuit 24 for superimposing on the image signal obtained by the CCD 22 in accordance with the pattern signal read out of the noise pattern ROM 25 correspondingly to an operating state of a color signal processing circuit 26.
