To easily perform voice chat with other user via an avatar concerning a virtual space providing server.

Each user performs communication within the virtual space via an avatar corresponding to the user. When a host user UH starts the voice chat, a prescribed range around the host user UH is set as an audible range 300. The audible range 300 is moved in response to the movement of the host user UH. Other user U1 desires participation to the voice chat by operating a voice chat button. The user U1 who enters the audible range 300 is connected to a channel for the voice chat which is used by the host user UH, so as to perform the voice chat. When the user U1 goes out of the audible range 300, the user U1 is disconnected from the channel for the voice chat.
