Abstract:
To correctly determine whether a battery is fully charged, even when battery deterioration has advanced.
In a controller 100 for controlling a solar cell system which includes a solar cell 1, a battery module 2, and a load 3, an open-circuit voltage estimation part 120 estimates the open-circuit voltage of the battery module 2, based on a battery voltage acquired by measurement immediately prior to the interruption of charging and a battery voltage acquired by measurement, after the interruption of the charging. A part 130 for determining full charging of the battery determines whether the battery module 2 is fully charged, based on the estimated open-circuit voltage.
