Abstract:
Braking device comprises clamping elements (16) with annular clamping zones (17) on a part of the periphery and a deviating unit (13) arranged in the running direction of the sheets for deviating the rear edges of the sheets from the running surface. An independent claim is also included for a machine for cross-cutting paper or cardboard sheets. Preferred Features: The distance between the clamping elements and the deviating unit is at least 100 mm. The distance between the camping elements and the deviating unit can be adjusted.
