Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device with which the transfer failure due to waving of a belt member at the time of a monochrome mode can be suppressed.SOLUTION: A photoreceptor forming an uppermost stream transfer nip with a transfer belt 16 is made as a photoreceptor 2K of color K used at the time of a monochrome mode, thereby the distance between the photoreceptor 2K of color K and a tension roller at the time of the monochrome mode can be shortened compared with the case in which the photoreceptor 2K of color K is made as a photoreceptor forming downstream-most transfer nip with the transfer belt 16. As a result, the occurrence of the waving of the belt between these regions can be suppressed, so that the variation of the transfer nip due to the waving can be suppressed. Thus, the transfer failure at the time of the monochrome mode can be suppressed.
