A display control unit 77 maintains a current display content, as it is, (step S16) when processing related to a job associated with a USB keyboard 69 is not completed, on the basis of a processing situation related to the job associated with the USB keyboard 69 at the time of acquisition, when removal information related to the removal of the USB keyboard 69 (external equipment) is acquired by a removal information acquisition part 71; whereas, when the processing related to the job is completed, the display content in a touch panel part 53 after the removal information is acquired is controlled appropriately so that a menu screen is displayed, in place of the current display content.
