Abstract:

To provide an image display which effectively prevents color unevenness with a simple configuration.

The image display includes: an image forming apparatus 11; a collimator optical system 12; and an optical apparatus 20. The optical apparatus 20 includes: a light guide plate 21; and a first diffraction grating member 30 and a second diffraction grating member 40 which are composed of a reflection type volume hologram diffraction grating. The thickness of the second diffraction grating member 40 is smaller than that of the first diffraction grating member 30.
