To provide an asbestos detoxification treatment method and its apparatus for detoxifying asbestos and/or an asbestos-containing material by immersing it in the hydrochloride of a prescribed concentration and holding it for the fixed time.
This invention relates to the asbestos detoxification treatment method for detoxifying the asbestos and/or the asbestos-containing material by immersing it in the hydrochloride of the prescribed concentration and holding it for the fixed time. Also, since silicon dioxide is deposited on the surface of the asbestos in a detoxification process by the hydrochloride, by taking out the asbestos in the middle of immersion in the hydrochloride and washing the surface with the hydrofluoric acid of a prescribed concentration, the silicon dioxide deposited to the asbestos-containing material immersed in the hydrochloride is dissolved. Thereafter, it is immersed in the hydrochloride of the prescribed concentration again. Also, the immersion in the hydrochloride and surface washing with the hydrofluoric acid are repeated.
