Abstract:

To provide a manufacturing method of a denitration catalyst capable of eliminating the point at issue of a conventional catalyst carrier, and to provide the denitration catalyst using it.

In the manufacturing method of the denitration catalyst having a honeycomb structure, which is constituted by alternately laminating a corrugated sheetlike ceramic fiber sheet and a flat ceramic fiber sheet, as a substrate, the honeycomb structure is immersed in a slurry prepared by suspending titania fine particles in a silica sol and dried and baked to support titania and silica on the honeycomb structure at the same time.
