To provide a microreactor in which a catalytic reaction can be advanced in high efficiency and whose size can be made compact as a whole and to provide a method for easily manufacturing the microreactor while keeping the material limit of the microreactor to a minimum.
The microreactor has at least one sheet of a meshed catalyst-deposited body in a casing. The casing has a raw material introduction port, a product discharge port and a pair of openings for electrodes. The catalyst-deposited body has an electric heating body and a catalyst deposited thereon. The electric heating body is connected to a pair of electrodes each of which is projected into the outside of the box unit from any of the openings for electrodes.
