Abstract:
To detect a drying state of laundry not by means of moisture.
In a bathroom ventilator/dryer 1 for drying laundry 14 hung in a bathroom 2, ventilation rate to the bathroom 2 is maintained constant, heating output of heating means is controlled to have a constant value in temperature difference between the bathroom 2 and an adjacent room 3 to maintain constant heat transmission, and the amount of steam generated accompanying drying of the laundry 14 is calculated from heating output of the heating means, which is applied to the bathroom 2, as sensible heat drawn from the bathroom 2 as evaporation latent heat, so that the drying condition of the laundry 14 is sensed.
