To provide a system for easily specifying a wheel to be detected of a wheel state detection unit.
A first trigger signal transmission unit 150 and a second trigger signal transmission unit 152 are provided on a road surface with a wheel 14 being brought into ground contact, and transmit the trigger signal outside by radio. Each of four TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) valve units 16 is provided corresponding to each of four wheels 14, and transmits a unit ID for identifying each valve unit is transmitted outside by wire when receiving the trigger signal. A receiver 18 receives the transmitted unit ID. A detected wheel specifying unit 104 is provided on a wheel body, and specifies each wheel to be detected of each of the four TPMS valve units 16 by using the received unit ID.
