To provide a hook-and-loop fastener capable of preventing a foaming resin stock solution from penetrating between engagement elements constituting an engagement part of the hook-and-loop fastener, and preventing such defective molding as to impair the fastener function in molding a cushion pad with the hook-and-loop fastener.

The hook-and-loop fastener 10 includes a strip-shaped fastener body 11 and the engagement part 13 composed of a number of engagement elements 12 projecting from one face 11M of the fastener body 11. The engagement part 13 penetrates a groove 36 of a groove-shaped holder part 34, whose upper side is open, formed in a mold from the distal end 12S side, and fastener body parts 11A and 11B on outer sides in the cross direction of the engagement part 13 are set in the holder part 34 in such a way as to be superposed on the upper surface 34J of the holder part 34. The other face 11N of the fastener body 11 is integrally fixed to the cushion pad molded by foaming the foaming resin stock solution 32 in the mold. The width of the fastener body 11 is set at the length of the width of the upper surface 34J of the holder part 34 or longer.
