To provide a motor capable of improving flexibility of phase change control and activation response at a phase change without increasing in an occupied space or in manufacturing cost.
This motor has an advance phase side working chamber 24 which rotates an inner-periphery side rotor to an outer-periphery side rotor in an advance phase direction, and a retard phase side working chamber 25 which rotates the inner-periphery side rotor to the outer-periphery side rotor in a retard phase direction by supplying/discharging working fluid. This motor also has a fluid passage switching valve 37 for switching supply/discharge of the working fluid to the respective working chambers 24, 25 on the advance phase side and the retard phase side corresponding to phase change requirement, an advance phase side bypass passage 45 for connecting a line passage 33 with the working chamber 24 by bypassing the switching valve 37, and a retard phase side bypassing passage 46 for connecting the line passage 33 with the working chamber 25 by bypassing the switching valve 37. Opening/closing valves 47A, 47B which open the bypass passages 45, 46 are intervened in both the bypass passages 45, 46 when rapid phase change requirement occurs.
