Abstract:

To provide an RE123-based superconductive tape wire capable of remarkably reducing a heating process time required for forming a precursor film of an REBa2Cu3Oy-based superconductor, being a thick film having a thickness over 2 μm and having a high critical current regardless of whether or not a metal organic salt of a starting material contains fluorine.

This manufacturing method of an RE-Ba-Cu-O-based superconductive tape wire includes: a first process of manufacturing a material-applied tape-like substrate by applying, to a tape-like substrate, a material solution prepared by mixing a metal organic acid salt containing respective metal elements constituting the REBa2Cu3Oy-based superconductor at predetermined composition ratios; a second process of providing a precursor film formation tape-like substrate with a precursor film of the superconductor formed thereon by making the material-applied tape-like substrate pass through glow discharge plasma; and a third process of applying a heat treatment for producing the superconductor to the precursor film formation tape-like substrate.
