To provide an easily adhesive polyester film for optical use with which an iris-like color is suppressed under fluorescent light, and which is excellent in adhesiveness to a hard coat layer and in (humidity and heat resistant) adhesiveness at high temperatures and high humidities.
The easily adhesive polyester film for optical use has an application layer at least on a surface of a polyester film, wherein the application layer includes a water-based polyester resin, a water-soluble organic titanium compound or a water-soluble organic zirconium compound, and particles with an average particle diameter of 200 to 700 nm, the content of the water-based polyester resin in the application layer is 20 mass% or more and less than 70 mass%, and the content of the water-soluble organic titanium compound or the water-soluble organic zirconium compound in the application layer is 10 mass% or more and less than 70 mass%.
