To provide an air cleaner of high usability capable of making a wind direction plate reach a position where it can not electrically reach, by user's manual operation.

In this air cleaner 1, a control section 6 operates a louver 12 by controlling a motor 15. In a manual operation range where the louver 12 is manually rotatable, the louver 12 reaches an E position inclined in the opening direction by 45° to the vertical direction, from a close position where the louver 12 takes a close attitude. The control section 6 oscillates the louver 12 between a C position where the louver 12 takes an attitude opened right above, and a D position inclined in the opening direction by 30° to the vertical direction. As an electrical operation range and the manual operation range coexist in a rotation range of the louver 12, a degree of freedom in setting the air supply direction can be increased, and the usability can be improved.
