Abstract:

To evaluate the accuracy of a delivery time delivered, and carry out control depending on the evaluation.

A TSA evaluates the accuracy of the delivery time delivered from a TA and can work depending on the result of the evaluation. For example, the TSA can correct a time of a watch by using the delivered time and set the activation period of a time stamp when the error of the delivered time is within an allowance, and can request the other TA to check a time when the error of the delivered time is not within the allowance. Moreover, since the accuracy of the delivery time delivered from the TA depends on the communication channel of NTA→TA→TSA, the TSA inquires at the NTA and TA about the accuracy and evaluates the accuracy of the delivery time delivered from the TA. Then, the TSA can select an operation depending on the accuracy of the delivered time and can evaluate the accuracy depending on the communication channel.
