Abstract:

To provide a manufacturing method of a catalyst for removing NOx (nitrogen oxide) capable of preparing a catalyst having high heat-resistance by preventing the sintering of TiO2, suppressing oxidation activity of SO2to SO3, and providing high denitration activity with easier Ti-Si ratio control and higher bondability and strength compared with a conventional technology, with a simplest possible method without applying complicated manufacturing processes.

In the manufacturing method of the catalyst for removing NOx, catalyst slurry or paste obtained by mixing, as a first component, titanium oxide of the average particle size of 15 nm or less, as a second component, colloidal silica having the particle size smaller than that of the first component, as a third component, soluble salts of tungsten or molybdenum, with water is carried by a carrier, or is extruded in a honeycomb shape, is then fired.
