To provide a multi-channel electrode capable of electrically stimulating or electrically measuring an arbitrary point of a site such as the brain and the heart while optically measuring or observing a function of the three-dimensional site such as the brain and the heart.
This in-situ multi-channel electrode 1 for living bodies is provided with a transparent conductor layer 3 and a transparent insulator layer 4 at a concave curve side of the transparent board 2 which has a plane at one plane face and the concave curve at the other face, and is characterized in that the conductor layer 3 is divided into a plurality of zones as mutually separate and independent regions on the concave curve, and a part of each region is extended toward the concave curve-side circumference part to be served as a leading line, and an insulator layer 4 is formed by covering a part other than pinhole portions 10 functioned as the electrodes.
