To provide an imaging lens comprising first and second movable lens groups, and an iris stop mechanism between the respective movable lens groups, wherein the positional relation between each guide shaft that support each movable lens group and the iris stop mechanism is made suitable to attain miniaturization and thinning, and the respective movable lens groups can be supported stably so as to allow smooth movement operation.

Respective guide shafts 15, 17 are arranged on the side opposite to respective lens groups 1, 2, and the first movable lens group 1 is supported by the first guide shaft 15 and is subjected to positional regulation in the rolling direction by the second guide shaft 17. The second movable lens group 2 is supported by the second guide shaft 17 and is subjected to positional regulation in the rolling direction by the first guide shaft 15. Respective screw shafts 22, 25 are arranged on a side opposite to the respective movable lens groups 1, 2, the first screw shaft 22 is arranged near the first guide shaft 15, and the second screw shaft 25 is arranged near the second guide shaft 17.
