Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic sensor device highly sensitively detecting a magnetic pattern of a detection target in a non-contact state where the detection target having the magnetic pattern is away from a magneto-resistance effect element by minute distance.SOLUTION: A first magnet and a second magnet disposed to be in parallel to a conveyance path for conveying a detection target so as to have different magnetic poles opposing each other. Magnetic field intensity in a conveyance direction in the conveyance path and intensity change in an opposing direction of the first magnet and the second magnet together form gradient magnetic field including a zero-point. A magneto-resistance effect element is disposed between the conveyance path and the first magnet. The magneto-resistance effect element is provided in a weak magnetic field region in the vicinity of the zero-point in the magnetic field intensity of the gradient magnetic field in the conveyance direction. The detection target passes through a strong magnetic field region of the gradient magnetic field.
