Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus capable of ensuring excellent tone reproducing characteristics when applied to an image forming method using toner so controlled as to maintain a color developing or non-color-developing state upon provision with color development information by light.
In the low tone density area of a halftone image, a developed toner image 306A (or 306B) having a developed dot 308 corresponding to the on-dot of a dot matrix of one pixel and developed dots 318 located in the vicinity of the developed dot 308 is formed.
