Abstract:
To provide an operation device which provides satisfactory step cursor operation or free cursor operation in a free attitude.
This operation device 1 is configured to display a plurality of selection buttons with specific functions assigned thereto and a cursor on a display screen of an information display device 100, and to move the cursor to the selection button to execute the specific function assigned to the selection button. The device 1 is provided with a body casing 10 whose width W is larger than the height H, and whose depth D is larger than the width W. A track ball 50 whose spherical surface is partially exposed is formed on both wide casing faces 11a and 11b of the main body casing 10.
