This metallic permeation check dam is constructed by forming extended parts 10b, 11b as restricting and holding parts for restricting and holding a first lattice-like wall 17 and a second lattice-like wall 19 on inner side face sides 10a, 11a of non-overflowing parts 10, 11 facing a water channel 12 and fixing each tip of extended members 15a, 18a hidden by the extended parts 10b, 11b when viewed on the downstream side on bottom parts 10c, 11c. An extended member 18d being not hidden by the extended parts 10b, 11b when viewed on the downstream side has a cantilever structure. A plurality of leg parts 30 are constructed in parts on the downstream side of the first and second lattice-like walls 17, 19 hidden by the extended parts 10b, 11b when viewed on the downstream side to face the direction of flow in the water channel 12 in order to transmit load due to the debris flow caught by the first and second lattice-like walls 17, 19 to the extended parts 10b, 11b.
