Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reading classification device of ballot papers capable of eliminating a process for aligning the front and back surfaces of the ballot papers in advance and improving its convenience.SOLUTION: In a reading classification device of ballot papers, an imaging unit 17 acquires imaging information of a ballot paper 4 by imaging end faces on both sides of the ballot paper 4 transported through a conveyance path 111. Information processing means identifies a front-and-back direction and a top-and-bottom direction of the ballot paper 4 on the basis of the imaging information by the imaging unit 17, aligns the top-and-bottom direction of the ballot paper 4 by reading description contents written in an entry frame of the ballot paper 4 and controlling operations of a top-and-bottom inversion part 20, and then transports the ballot paper 4 of the same description contents to two stackers 31-38 for each front-and-back direction.
