Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an exposing device and an image forming device capable of suppressing failure of a sealing material sealing between a lens assembly and a casing.SOLUTION: Insertion holes 74 to which a tip of a nozzle 72 used for applying the sealing material 70 can be inserted are provided at both ends in the longitudinal direction of a lens array 56 by notching the casing 58. Thus, the sealing material 70 discharged from the nozzle 72 first and having an unstable discharge direction and discharge amount is discarded in the insertion holes 74, and then, the sealing material 70 is applied to a contact part 78 between a side part in the longitudinal direction of the lens array 56 and the casing 58. As a result, this can suppress failure of the sealing material 70 such as adhesion of the sealing material 70 to a rod lens 54 formed in the lens array 56.
