Abstract:
To provide an imaging apparatus that displays a split image, by which manual focusing is facilitated.
The imaging apparatus is configured to enlarge the split image (focus detection area) so that the user easily performs a manual focusing operation when the split-image is displayed through the use of two images for phase-difference AF, and when the contrast of the focus detection area is low.
