Abstract:

To efficiently decompose carbon dioxide, and to substantially and effectively reduce discharge amount of carbon dioxide by efficiently using graphite formed.

In the decomposition method of carbon dioxide, a reduction substance reacting with oxygen atoms in the carbon dioxide and a decomposition reaction substance promoting the decomposition reaction of carbon dioxide are held to coexist in relation to high temperature carbon dioxide-containing gas, to thereby decompose the carbon dioxide and to attach carbon onto the decomposition reaction substance to reduce the substance.
