To provide a method for producing an insert-decorated molding of high design which has at least two kinds of continuous patterns and enables a resin color not to be seen from the boundary parts of the pattern.
The method for producing the insert-decorated molding includes the vacuum forming process for vacuum-forming at least two kinds of decorative sheets and the injection process in which at least two kinds of the vacuum molded decorative sheets are arranged in a female mold, and a molding resin is injected on the decorative sheets. The end part of the first decorative sheet of the adjacent decorative sheets is in contact with or positioned close to the back of the second decorative sheet. The distance between the end of the first decorative sheet and the end of the second decorative sheet is 15-100% of wall thickness of the molding resin.
