To eliminate a failure to be generated in photography by ISO bracketing when a sensitivity automatic control mode and an ISO bracketing mode are set.

This camera is provided with: an imaging means 121 for picking up an image of an object; a luminance detection means 102; an exposure operation means 101 for performing an exposure operation using at least exposure sensitivity and object luminance; a first setting means 113 for setting a first mode; a first control means 101 for executing the first mode; a second setting means 114 for setting a second mode; a second control means 101 for executing the second mode; and a third control means 101 for changing the exposure sensitivity to either of the high sensitivity side or the low sensitivity side on the basis of the exposure sensitivity changed by the exposure operation means 101 on the basis of an instruction of the first control means 101 to make the exposure operation means 101 perform the exposure operation when the first mode and the second mode are set.
