Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element that functions as a photoelectric conversion element and exhibits a low dark current when a compound having a specific structure is applied to the photoelectric conversion element, and that can reduce the increment in the dark current even when the element is heated, and an imaging element having such a photoelectric conversion element.SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion element has a photoelectric conversion film held between a transparent conductive film and a conductive film, and including a photoelectric conversion layer and an electron blocking layer. The electron blocking layer includes a compound having an amino substituent including three or more ring structures as a substituent.
