Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically switch magnification of a dynamic range or improvement of resolution in accordance with an observation purpose.SOLUTION: A magnification observation device includes: an imaging section 10 for imaging an original image having a prescribed dynamic range; composite image generation means 85 for composing a plurality of original images imaged under different imaging conditions in the same observation position of a sample and generating composite image data whose gradation is higher than gradation width of the original image; and a display section 52 for displaying the image obtained by imaging it by the imaging section 10. The device also includes mode selection means 82 for selecting a dynamic range magnification photographing mode for generating a composite image having a wider dynamic range than the original image or a resolution improvement photographing mode whose luminance resolution is improved much more than the original image in the dynamic range narrower than the original image as a composite image photographing mode for obtaining the composite image from the plurality of original images imaged by the imaging section 10.
